Visarend Schotland Loch of the Lowes 2012
Blog update van 13 december: geen nieuws over Blue 44.

Firstly, unfortunately we still have had no further news of Blue 44’s whereabouts- we keep checking his satellite data daily to see if his tag begins working again ( as it has been known for them to do this) but so far to no avail. We continue to have every hope that he is alive and well, despite a satellite tag malfunction, and hope too that he has found a safe wintering ground, whether in Spain ( where he was last seen four weeks ago) or further south in Africa.
Hier is meer te lezen, ook over YD.

With our Loch of the Lowes born Osprey chick Blue 44 still unaccounted for ( there is still no data at available from the satellite tag) our focus remains on the 2012 Angus born chick Blue YD. This young bird is still doing well in west Africa and has returned from the coast to his favourite haunts 150 miles inland along the Senegal river.

Een nieuw blog vandaag. Geen nieuws van Blue 44. Nu wel met de kanttekening dat de zender 'mogelijk niet goed functioneert'. Laten we dat maar hopen...

Still no news of Blue44 whose satellite tracking device seems to be malfunctioning- we continue to hope he is alive and well, and that someone might spot his coloured leg ring and report it to us- we are appealing for anyone seeing ospreys in southern Europe or western Africa to keep a sharp eye out!
